Costa Rica’s Central Pacific Coast

Central Pacific, Costa Rica

Why Central Pacific?

The Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica covers Puntarenas from the north to Quepos and Manuel Antonio down south.

This narrow strip of gorgeous land is known for its lush rain forests,  mountainous coastline, protected wildlife and serene, vast beaches. This part of Costa Rica is truly unlike any other.

The Central Coast is easily accessible which makes it the most popular vacation destination in Costa Rica. It is only one to one and a half hours from the capital of San Jose with the nation’s top ranked hospitals and American style shopping malls.  Juan Santamaria International Airport is located in nearby Alajuela. With most airlines flying directly into this airport,  visiting the Central Pacific is naturally a preferred destination.

The Central Pacific boasts an ample amount of hotels, restaurants and shopping. Explore the white sand beaches of Punta Leona, the tropical rainforest park of Carara, and the popular Manuel Antonio National Park in Quepos.  Visit nearby waterfalls and check out the world class surf breaks found in Playa Jaco and Playa Hermosa. Los Sueños Golf Course Resort & Marina in Herradura offers sportfishing charters and lush golf courses.

Charles Boyd, CEO of The Costa Rica Team, invites you to visit the country he calls home. He will personally show you the company’s masterpiece project site, Cielo Vista. It would also be a pleasure for him to get you connected with tours and excursions you don’t want to miss.
