We recently had the chance to speak with Andy Stockinger, Troon’s newly appointed General Manager of Reserva Conchal Golf & Beach Club. He gave us a glimpse into the amazing facilities based inside Reserva Conchal. located in Guanacaste alongside the Pacific coast.
For Andy this is his first time managing a club in Central America and this also marks Troon’s first golf course in Costa Rica. Andy told us that he prefers warm climates as he hails from Northern Minnesota and has no plans of going back to the cold winters he had to endure growing up. Andy has had the opportunity to travel the world with Troon he has worked in New York, California, Abu Dhabi, England and India. “Every country and club has great and exciting aspects, but there is something really special about Reserva Conchal and Costa Rica. When you are playing this course, its not just another round of golf. It’s an experience hard to capture with just words.”
The entire Reserva Conchal property covers over 2300 acres with endless beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. The community works hard to adhere to some of the best property standards around and alongside their environmentally friendly projects in protecting their dry forest, mangroves, flowers and wildlife they do everything to bring luxury and the environment together. An amazing fact for the property is that over 85% of all waste onsite is recycled and / or reused back into the area.

From 2021, golf memberships start from $6500 per year for this exclusive course – which includes access to the golf course and restaurants. Golf carts usage is an additional fee.
